Michael Jackson’s Thriller, at Glee

The King of Pop will also have its place in Glee. The choir of Institute of fashion series will make its version of the classic Michael Jackson Thriller special chapter to be issued in February after the Super Bowl.
Glee producers have worked for months in the special episode of musical comedy to be broadcast immediately after the NFL championship on Feb. 6. The Super Bowl is usually the most watched event in U.S. television and attracts more than 100 million viewers.
Previous rumors saying, among other things, that the show’s producers were working on a chapter devoted exclusively to Jackson, or a tribute to the music of Bruce Springsteen.
However, Fox announced, the special chapter is preparing for after the Super Bowl will not be devoted entirely to the music of Jackson’s Thriller was mixed with another song that has not yet been revealed.
Entertainment Weekly magazine, which first published the news about Thriller, said the chapter after the Super Bowl will also feature their own versions of tunes Katy Perry, The Black Eyed Peas and the country band Lady Antebellum. (more…)
